UBMD Primary Care is one of 16 medical practices in UBMD Physicians’ Group, the single largest medical group in Western New York. Our physicians are family medicine providers, certified by the American Board of Family Medicine to treat patients ranging from pediatrics through geriatrics. PATIENT SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE
UBMD Primary Care seeking Patient Services Representative (PSR) to work at busy outpatient clinic located at 850 Hopkins Rd, Buffalo, NY 14221. Schedule will be Monday through Friday 09:00 am to 05:00 pm with ability to work two to three (2-3) evening hours (12:30-8:30) per month on rotation with the other PSR's.
Duties include, but are not limited to, greeting patients, maintain high call volume, check in/out, verifying insurances, scheduling appointments, daily copay reports/collecting copays, general customer service. Must have excellent communication and multi-tasking skills. 1-2 years' experience in medical office required, EMR and Healthenet experience required, general office skills (faxing, copying, etc.) required.
Pay range is $17.00-$18.00/hour. Full-time 37.5 hours/week. Any offer of employment is contingent upon background check and drug screen. AA/EOE
MEDICAL ASSISTANT
UBMD Primary Care seeking a full-time Medical Assistant for a busy outpatient clinic in downtown Buffalo at the Conventus Medical Office Building. Qualified candidates should have a minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience working as an MA/MOA, preferably in an outpatient clinic setting. Candidates should also have experience in electronic medical records, excellent communication, organizational, customer service, and multi-tasking skills. Schedule will be Monday through Friday, 08:30am - 04:30pm.
Parking is paid for downtown location.

NURSE PRACTITIONER/ PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT
UBMD Primary Care seeking full time or part time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (APP) for it's Williamsville outpatient clinic. The APP will provide primary and episodic care to patients under the supervision of a physician. Responsible for delivery of quality care to patients, while emphasizing health promotion and/or disease prevention through patient education and coordination of care. Will interpret diagnostic test results, compile and record patient medical data, make diagnoses and decisions about management and treatment of patients. The APP prescribes therapy or medication with physician approval, as well as administer or order diagnostic tests such as x-rays, electrocardiograms and lab tests. Graduate of accredited PA or NP program. Current NYS license as PA or NP certified by the NYS Education Department. Minimum of 2 years' experience in health care delivery, preferably in an outpatient clinic setting.
Excellent communication, multi-tasking and organizational skills required. Experience using Allscripts EMR system strongly preferred.
Full time schedule is Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm. Part time schedule would be Mondays, Tuesdays & Fridays 8 am to 5 pm. No benefits associated with part time work except pro-rated PTO and ability to participate in the 401k retirement plan. NO HOLIDAYS, WEEKENDS OR NIGHTS!
Full time pay range is $100,000/year to $105,000/year. Part time range is $64,000/year to $67,200/year for 24 hours per week.
